A long long time ago I opened the gates of San d’Oria. I made my way into town, in awe of its greatness, wanting to be a famous adventurer, and serve my kingdom.
Thats the glamourous opening… Truth is I was bored of every game I had, and I got talked into trying FFXI. And so I did… well, I got sucked into it pretty fast, and there wasent a day that went by without logging into FF and have fun with friends. All fun and joy and good times… but as any long term player will know, good times cant last forever, I was playing waaaay too much, and I grew tired of it after a while… So I took a break and did other things instead, I played other games, I took the time to smell the roses and live in the real world.. but oddly enough I felt drawn back to the game and my friends… Is it possible to miss a fictional character.. I say hell yeah it is… Is it possible to miss ppl you only know by nickname.. ppl you will never meet, you will never be social with, ppl scattered all over the world… ?? Yes, its very much possible… So I went back into the amazing world of Vana’diel, my friends greeted me with open arms, happy too see me come back….
However… I made an important note to myself… no matter how much I adore this game, RL must come first…
